 Paul Christen contributed $1,000,000 to Dakota Wesleyan University for the Wellness Center. Through out of state association, he has been instrumental in recruiting many industries to South Dakota. Through Boy Scouting activities on all levels he has directly influenced lives of hundreds of boys.

Christen's active participation in local community, state and regional industrial development and financing activities for almost 40 years continues. He is a committee member and chairman. As part owner of the Minnesota Twins, he brings major professional sport interest to South Dakota. Paul served as Vice Chairman of MEI Corp. when it was 272 on the Fortune Magazine 500 largest industrial firms. <p>Paul is very involved in the community and has also been a board member of the SD Kiwanis Club, SD Chamber of Commerce, Greater Huron Development Corp., Industry & Commerce Assn. of SD, Trustees of Dakota Wesleyan Univ., and is also involved in many other groups. <p>Awards, Honors:
